The Brumback Library, in partnership with the Van Wert Historical Society, extends an invitation to view "The History of the Peony Festival" May 20th through June 10th in the main lobby and former biography room of the library.  The display will be open daily during regular hours of operation.

The Brumback Library is moving all former Romance books into the new Inspirational category.  Included in that category are all the Love Inspired suspense, Love Inspired historical and Love Inspired western titles.  Amish romance books will also be updated with new call numbers and spine label stickers.

One of the most exciting upgrades at the Brumback Library is becoming part of the SEO Consortium.

The Brumback Library will be closed at all locations on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 for staff training.  We will re-open for regular hours at all locations on Thursday, Febrary 29th, 2024.  Thank you for your support and patience as we work hard to better support you and the larger Van Wert County Community!

The Brumback Library Board of Trustees appoints Nellie Schmidt as Director of The Brumback Library.

The Library Enrichment Foundation of the Brumback Library supplements the financial support and activities of the Brumback Library of Van Wert County. The foundation provides an opportunity for the public to give tax deductible gifts for the benefit of the library, which in turn benefits the Van Wert community. It also provides branch facility locations for the use of the library to provide library services.

Tax deductible donations should be directed to "The Library Enrichment foundation of The Brumback Library" at 215 West Main St., Van Wert, Ohio. 45891.

Tumble Book Library is an online collection of e-books for children in grades K-6.  They are a great way to encourage and foster a love of reading with your kids!
